One busy day on returning from office, I was scrolling my face-book timeline, when a post stopped my finger to scroll further and this post was about Amal Fellowship program. I never knew about this before so I clicked the link and go through the details.

Due to my busy schedule of 7–7 job and other stuff , First I was hesitant to apply for the fellowship but keeping the intention of self grooming and meeting new people, I applied and luckily got selected.

Before first session, I was really excited to meet new people and make friends with them.

One of the earliest memories of the first two weeks at Amal fellowship was an activity related to a “Dog”. So basically we all were sent to the break-out room in zoom and we had to draw a dog with few lines and shapes only. It’s quite an interesting and funny activity which basically taught us how to do things within your resources and I made my first friend of fellowship in this activity, that’s why I remember it .

The other good thing in those two weeks was my first learning group “Positivity Radiators” where I got to know about more fellows and my bond with them became stronger. I consider that learning group still the best one throughout the fellowship. This group was comprised of Me, Amna, Tooba , Asawar and Faizan. Later 3 guys left the fellowship in early stages but are still in my contact.

Another exciting thing was creating a video on communication tips which was quite a new experience for me because It was very difficult experience for me. I came out of my comfort zone and made that video with help of my colleague.

So, I sum up my first 2 weeks in two words “ Exciting Experience” . The activities through out the fellowships, fellow fellows and our Instructors Ma’am Arfa and Ma’am Yusra teach me alot which is helping me not only in my professional world but also in personal life.

Thankyou so much Team Amal and fellows for being so kind all the time .

Stay Blessed and Happy Learning .

Love,

Junaid
